Tips for an unforgettable holiday
The Kartitsch Sports Centre, situated at the entrance to the Winkeltal valley, is the perfect place for ice skating and curling. Whether taking part in fun tournaments or enjoying a spot of free skating, this is the ideal spot to show off your skills on the ice and have a go together.
Ice skates can be hired on site. The centre is located about 400 metres from the house. The “Rumpelstilzchen” serves burgers and other delicacies to keep you well fed.
In the neighbouring village of Obertilliach, there is a 7km-long toboggan run that leads from the mountain straight back down to the village. Whether you take the gondola lift or walk up, the Conny Alm is the perfect place to stop for refreshments before your adventure.
The 7 km-long toboggan run in Sillian leads from the Leckfeldalm back to the starting point. After the walk up, you can stop off at the Leckfeldalm if the snow conditions are good.
Fun and speed are guaranteed here for friends, families and couples.

Night skiing takes place every Thursday from 7 pm to 9 pm, featuring live music and a snow igloo bar (subject to snow conditions).

In the listed town centre of Obertilliach, a night watchman is still on duty. He can tell you all sorts of things about the unique features of our pretty mountain village.

Every Wednesday from 3 pm, biathlon shooting is available for guests at the shooting range. You can book by calling the Obertilliach Information Office on +43 50 212 360 or by emailing obertilliach@osttirol.com.
On full moon nights, the roughly 7-kilometre route is atmospherically lit in the evening – an unforgettable experience. Important: be sure to bring a head torch so that you can walk safely and remain clearly visible even in the dark.
